Restored vintage leather sofa from a gentleman's Victorian club.

We are delighted to offer for sale this absolutely exceptional Victorian gentleman's club sofa, fully restored and very rare, featuring a coil spring base and a rare moustache backrest. It is one of the most beautiful sofas, with its original hand-dyed leather upholstery. The back cushions are padded and fixed, also spring-loaded, ensuring great comfort. The moustache-shaped backrest is very rare. The leather has been gently stripped and then hand-dyed in a stunning cigar brown colour. The sofa has retained all its original charm and style, evoking the atmosphere of a Mayfair gentleman's club around 1860. Dimensions: Height 86 cm, Width 191 cm, Depth 100 cm (including cushions), Seat height 49 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: good, with wear consistent with age and use. Please note, vintage leather items show a natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to regularly wax to preserve moisture. The hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods to avoid drying and discolouration.
