Victorian style vintage leather spring sofa

We are delighted to offer for sale one of two lovely restored vintage club sofas in Victorian style. This sale concerns the second sofa made to match the original Victorian one from around the 1930s, the original sofa being almost identical with a few slight differences. The seat platform is equipped with pocket springs, each spring hand-dyed in eight directions, padded with jute and supported. The cushions are filled with dense, deep foam. The sofa was fully restored a few years ago, with a new aniline heritage leather covering that shows the natural patina of the skin. The sofas will need to be recoloured soon with a hand-dye in a beautiful whisky brown. Dimensions: Height 67 cm, Width 200 cm, Depth 91 cm at the front panel with the back against the wall, 98 cm at the front of the cushion. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note that vintage leather naturally exhibits a patina with cracks, creases, and wear. Regular polishing is recommended, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided for hand-dyed leather to prevent drying and discolouration.
