We are delighted to present this magnificent English Victorian antique sofa, hand-dyed, in brown leather with feather-filled cushions. This three to four-seater sofa is very well made with a spiral spring base, feather cushions, and a spiral spring front edge, a costly feature ensuring comfort without a hard wooden piece under the legs. The sofa is upholstered in simple aniline leather, the cushions are filled with feathers, and the structure is entirely made of mahogany, showcasing great quality, style, and charm. The sofa has been fully restored, with the old colour removed and then hand-dyed to a rich chestnut brown. Dimensions: height 81 cm, width 238 cm, depth 58 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Please note that vintage items like leather may exhibit natural patina in the form of creases and wear. It is recommended to wax annually to retain moisture. Hand-dyed leather is not recommended to be exposed directly to sunlight for long periods as it may dry out and discolour.
