Victorian leather canapé, shield armrests, stamped Maple & Co.

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent original sofa from around 1880-1900, stamped Maple & Co., in Victorian style with Regency green leather shield armrests. The leather is beautifully aged with a patina and marks that add to its antique character. The structure is spring-based and the cushions are filled with feathers. The sofa is in used condition with signs of wear and slight fading, which is normal for a vintage item. Restoration and manual dyeing are possible upon request with a quote. Dimensions: height 79 cm, width 174 cm, depth 96 cm. Seat height 47 cm.
