Howard & Son leather canapé, restored vintage, 3-seater

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage three-seater sofa, fully restored in hand-dyed brown leather in the style of Howard & Son, with overstuffed feather cushions. A matching two-seater sofa is currently being restored and should be completed in one to two weeks. If you are interested in the pair, please send an email. It is a beautiful piece; the leather has been fully restored, including washed, hand-dyed, and aged six times, sealed, waxed, and polished, giving it a better-than-new appearance. The cushions are very comfortable, overstuffed with feathers. It is a long and low sofa, ideal for tall people or those who like to tuck their legs beside them when sitting. Dimensions: Height: 75.5 cm, Width: 198.5 cm, Depth: 109 cm, Seat Height: 52 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our warehouses in Pulborough. Please note that original vintage pieces such as leather seating will always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear. An annual waxing is recommended to prevent moisture loss. Hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as it may dry out and discolour.
