Pair of restored antique Chesterfield sofas in Boudreaux leather.

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of antique Chesterfield sofas, fully restored, in hand-dyed Boudreaux brown leather, with feather-filled cushions and solid walnut feet. Both sofas are upholstered in premium English cowhide leather, hand-dyed in this beautiful reddish-brown colour. The frames are made of solid oak and the feet are new solid walnut buttons, equipped with a 12 mm axle for easy disassembly. The seat base consists of traditional Victorian coil springs, and the seat cushions are filled with feathers. In terms of condition, they are sublime and magnificent from every angle. Dimensions: Height: 76.5 cm, Width: 173 cm, Depth: 93 cm, Seat Height: 49 cm (all measurements taken at the widest point). The condition is good with a refinished surface, showing wear consistent with age and use. The hand-dyed leather requires special care to avoid discolouration and drying out from prolonged direct sunlight.
