We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent, exceptionally rare pair of original Chesterfield sofas from the early Victorian era, in cigar brown leather from Berners Street by Howard & Son, fully restored with serpentine front panels. This pair of sofas has been completely restored from top to bottom, including the preservation of the original horsehair upholstery, the frame checked and rebuilt, then upholstered with the finest 100% natural Italian aniline leather, dyed and hand-aged six times, then sealed, waxed, and polished for a perfect period look and feel.
