Vintage Chesterfield 3-piece leather lounge set

We are delighted to offer for sale this sumptuous vintage Chesterfield set in green leather, dating from the 1960s. A set with an elegant appearance, well-crafted with beautiful plush cushions. The leather is made from cowhide, hand-tacked with antique nails. The base is fitted with 1970s castors. The condition is good, having been carefully cleaned, waxed, and polished by hand. It shows a patina related to age and use, with a few marks here and there, as well as a small straight repair at the lower front of the sofa. Sofa dimensions: height 71.5 cm, width 214 cm, depth 96.5 cm, seat height 42 cm. Armchair dimensions: height 73 cm, width 109.5 cm, depth 92.5 cm, seat height 40.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest points. The vintage item naturally features creases and signs of wear typical of original leather. An annual waxing is recommended to preserve the moisture of the leather, which should not be exposed directly to sunlight to avoid drying and discolouration.
