Chesterfield suite three-piece leather set

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning restored vintage Chesterfield library suite in brown cigar leather. A very rare find, we rarely encounter original three-piece sets from this era. This is an original hand-dyed suite, meaning it has been upholstered in fully aniline leather sourced from cattle hides, then hand-dyed in this unique chestnut brown colour. You can always recognise hand-dyed pieces as you can see the natural colour of the hide in the creases of the leather. This is the finest set of its kind you will find anywhere; it is a true library suite. The frames are fully equipped with coil springs in the tradition of Victorian pieces. Regarding the condition, we have deep cleaned, hand-waxed, and polished it from top to bottom; it shows normal signs of age-related patina and use in places. Dimensions of the sofa: Height: 73 cm.
