We are delighted to offer for sale this Victorian Morris & Co pedestal desk in satinwood, fully stamped, with a gallery top. A rare and significant piece of English craftsmanship dating from around 1880. The wood is sublime and shines under all light, with a ramp edge reminiscent of marine chart desks, ensuring pure quality. Cleaned, waxed, and polished, the desk shows normal patina related to age and use over nearly 140 years, but is in very good condition for its age.
