Boulle Commode Napoleon III

We are pleased to offer this sublime French Boulle commode from the Napoleonic III period, dating from around 1880, adorned with brass and faux tortoiseshell with fine gold fittings. This highly decorative and collectible 19th-century piece shows signs of age and use in the painted finish, while the shell and brass are in good condition. A key is included to open the drawers, which typically do not have handles. The dimensions are Height: 117 cm, Width: 82 cm, Depth: 39.5 cm. The condition is very good for its period, with minor wear consistent with age.
