Victorian oak commode finely carved.

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent English oak chest of drawers, finely carved and dating from around 1860-1880. This highly decorative and well-crafted piece features an exceptional level of carving, with drawers likely dating from 1820-1840 and later added sculptures in accordance with fashion. The wood has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished, showing the signs of age and use that add to its charm. Dimensions: height 94.5 cm, width 98.5 cm, depth 51.5 cm. The condition is good with wear consistent with age and slight discolouration.
