17th Century Antique Oak Commode with Two Rows of Drawers

We are offering for sale a magnificent finely carved chest of drawers dating from around 1680, the time of James II. An original piece with a honey-brown-golden wood patina achieved through years of waxing and use. The item has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished. It shows signs of use and patina related to its age, with some losses and signs of wear consistent with nearly 350 years of existence. Dimensions: Height 80 cm, Width 102.5 cm, Depth 59 cm.
