European Hand-Painted Wardrobe in Solid Oak circa 1800

We are delighted to offer this magnificent original wardrobe from Central Europe dating from around 1800, hand-painted with floral details. An exceptionally beautiful, well-made, and collectible wardrobe, the hand-painted decoration is exquisite across the entire surface. The piece comes with the original lock and key, both fully functional. The wardrobe can be disassembled into four easy-to-transport pieces: the base plinth, the top, and the two main bodies. This version has been designed to break down into two parts to facilitate transport and installation. Dimensions (measured at the widest points): height 205 cm, width 190 cm, depth 70.5 cm. Please note that vintage and original period items like this one always exhibit a natural patina in the form of creases and wear. We recommend annual waxing to prevent any loss of moisture. The hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods to avoid drying and discolouration.
