Victorian Flame Wood Commode with Porcelain Casters

We are pleased to offer for sale this superb Victorian mahogany chest of drawers, mid-19th century, resting on elegant turned legs ending in porcelain casters. These drawers feature a beautiful wood patina. Likely made from Honduras mahogany, a material used for the finest pieces, including luxury pianos. The condition shows some patina marks due to age and use, without detracting from its charm. The chest has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom. Dimensions: height 81.5 cm, width 112 cm, depth 52 cm. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. The condition is good with normal signs of wear for its age.
