We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning vintage military chest of drawers, handmade in England, featuring a sliding top for serving and an extendable surface. A truly beautiful and well-crafted piece, it is the size of a side table with a sliding top, traditionally used by butlers to serve drinks and snacks, protecting the visible surface. It also has an extendable function where the top fully unfolds, effectively doubling the surface for serving or playing cards. The condition is very good, with some signs of patina related to age and use, but overall in good order. Deeply cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom.
