Burr Yew wood commode with leather top in Butler style

We are delighted to offer for sale this charming vintage Burr Yew wood chest of drawers with a green leather Butler-style serving tray. An aesthetic, functional, and well-made piece of furniture, the drawers open and close as they should. The serving tray is a lovely addition, protecting the top of the drawers from cup marks and general damage. In terms of size, this chest of drawers is the size of a very large side table. Regarding its condition, it has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom. There will be some light patina marks due to honest use and genuine age, but it is essentially in good condition. Dimensions: Height 63 cm, Width 58.5 cm, Depth 44 cm, measurements taken at the widest points. Please note that vintage and original items, such as leather seating, will always have a natural patina with cracks, creases, and wear. We recommend regular waxing to prevent moisture loss. Hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods as this dries it out and discolours it.
