Exceptional antique painted bridal wardrobe from southern Germany, Bavaria, dated 1882, but probably an older example that has been passed down within the family and thus provided with a more recent date. A special piece because of the grey-blue colour with cream-coloured panels, in which amphorae are depicted. A typical example of folk art from this time and region. The wardrobe is completely in original condition, with original fittings and can be locked with the original, impressive lock. The interior is equipped with a clothes rail. The wardrobe shows occasional old woodworm traces, but has been fully checked and treated.
