Antique bridal wardrobe dating from 1811, originating from Franconia, southern Germany. The heavily weathered character and original paintings give it a stunning appearance. Both the design of the wardrobe and the painting are simple and primitive, but authentic and a typical example of folk art from the region. The wardrobe is painted in a fresh blue colour and decorated with flowers, mainly tulips. The wardrobe has been thoroughly checked and professionally restored, with attention to originality and character. The construction is solid, the painting is worn but preserved, and the patina has been maintained. The crest has also been replaced at some point, although this was done a long time ago. The layout consists of a shelf, coat hooks, and a rod. The wardrobe can be locked with a working lock. Old, sporadically present woodworm traces have been checked and treated.
