We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely three-seater sofa in hand-dyed tan brown leather, adorned with decorative nail work across the entire surface. The sofa is well-built and elegant, with leather made from full-grain bovine hide that is fully aniline, providing a thick natural appearance, and is then hand-dyed and beautifully aged. The upholstery is secured in place by numerous antique nails hammered in by hand. The legs are made of oak and elevate the sofa. In terms of condition, the piece has been cleaned, waxed, and polished, presenting a lovely faded vintage look. Please note that vintage and original period items such as leather seating will always have a natural patina in the form of creases and wear; we recommend annual waxing to prevent any loss of moisture. Additionally, hand-dyed leather is not recommended for prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as it will dry out and fade.
