Superb polychrome painted wardrobe in Tyrolean/Alpine style, made in the mid-19th century, With a back dated 1947 (handwritten inscription inside) Featuring a rich hand-painted decoration in the tradition of Central European folk furniture (Austria, Switzerland, Southern Germany, Tyrol). The front opens with two large panelled doors, entirely decorated with stylised floral patterns, crowns, bouquets, and traditional ornaments, in bright tones of blue, red, ochre, green, and black, against a wood background. The uprights, cornice, and base are also decorated with painted and faux-marble motifs, typical of Alpine furniture. The moulded cornice is adorned with painted rosettes, while the base features a wide decorated plinth. The interior is fitted with large shelves, offering significant storage capacity.
