Max Ingrand table lamp #2278 for Fontana Arte, Italy, 1960

Max Ingrand #2278 Table Lamp for Fontana Arte, Italy, 1960 An early version of the #2278 with a green inner shade. The brass has beautifully oxidized over the years. A heavy and imposing table lamp, with very well-chosen proportions and interesting details such as the textured and curved glass that serves as a light reflector. Additionally, the small open edge appears greenish due to the paint but also because of the light passing through. A phenomenal find that brings that little extra one can expect from a Max Ingrand lamp. We are big fans of his work and always try to have a few pieces by him in our gallery. Fully functional and in its original condition. No damage to the glass or the lamp. Original push switch on the base. Published: Fontana Arte 6, manufacturer's catalog. Dimensions Height: 50 cm
