Elegant sideboard-bar designed by the trio ARP (Atelier de Recherches Plastiques) and produced by Minvielle in the 1950s. Structure in light beech with a warm hue, highlighted by its corner reinforcements and legs in black lacquered metal, a strong aesthetic signature of the publisher. The upper part opens by dropping down and reveals a modular interior space, composed of shelves and side tablets — ideal as a bar, secretary, or refined occasional piece. The lower façade, simple and perfectly proportioned, contains an adjustable shelf as desired. The whole rests on a lightweight, architectural blackened steel base, which gives the piece its modernity. An emblematic piece of post-war French modernism: the rigor of lines, intelligent functionality, and timeless elegance. In very good overall condition. Authentic Minvielle edition.
