642 armchair designed by the Atelier de Recherche Plastique (A.R.P.) circa 1955, produced by Steiner. Black lacquered metal base. Fully restored, with foam, webbing, and fabric upholstery. The Atelier de Recherche Plastique is a collective of three French designers, Pierre Guariche, Joseph-André Motte, and Michel Mortier, founded in 1954. Three armchairs available. A pair of 645 armchairs from the same series is also available in khaki.
