Rare pair of modular sideboards designed by ARP (Atelier de Recherches Plastiques) and produced by Minvielle in the 1950s. Presented here in a symmetrical version, with a right opening and a left opening, they create a particularly elegant architectural ensemble. The light oak, with its warm and even hue, is subtly contrasted by the corner reinforcements and the tubular black metal legs — an iconic graphic signature of the publisher. Each module offers a generous storage volume, structured by an internal shelf. Rigorous lines, controlled proportions, intelligent functionality: a perfect example of post-war French modernism. Placed side by side, they form a minimalist low sideboard; when separated, they also function as independent pieces of furniture (bedside tables, symmetrical consoles, etc.). In very good overall condition. Authentic Minvielle edition.
