Elegant sideboard or buffet produced by Minvielle in the 1950s, emblematic of post-war French modernity. The composition is particularly successful: On the left, a large sliding door in matte white tempered glass conceals a generous storage space; on the right, an open niche rhythmically complemented by a removable shelf brings lightness and visual balance. The lower part is structured by four full-front drawers, with fine proportions and perfectly aligned, creating a graphic horizontality very characteristic of French modernist furniture. The craftsmanship of the teak is meticulous: warm and even grain, sharp edges, precise joinery. The whole piece offers a presence that is both discreet and architecturally defined. This type of wall-mounted furniture, designed to free up the floor and lighten the space, fully aligns with the rationalist aesthetic of the 1950s — functionality, pure lines, and balance of volumes. A very beautiful wall piece, ideal for a modernist, Scandinavian, or minimalist interior. Fixing system: internal steel structure, invisible, ensuring a solid and discreet wall suspension (see the last 3 photos).
