Oak frame with cushions upholstered in the original grey fabric, featuring button-tufted detailing. Original stamp present. Designed by Torben Lind and Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen, the “Moduline” armchair was manufactured by Danish company France & Søn in the 1960s. The design combines an essential oak frame with generously upholstered cushions, creating a clear visual distinction between the supporting structure and the softer seating elements. The exposed wooden frame follows a rigorous geometric design, while the seat and backrest feature distinctive button-tufted upholstery. The grey fabric is original to the period, retaining the texture and character of the original production. A representative example of 1960s Danish design, in which the structural clarity of the wooden frame is combined with careful attention to proportions and comfort. Good vintage condition.
