Superb Return from Egypt mahogany chest of drawers, topped with elegant Belgian granite gray marble. It opens with three large, high drawers, whose mahogany veneered fronts reveal a refined grain and deep color. Each drawer is adorned with original gilt bronze lion head ring handles, as well as a period lock with a threaded entry and fitted Empire key. The interior of the cabinet is carefully fitted with wooden dust covers, highlighting the quality of its craftsmanship. The side uprights are magnificently adorned with chiseled bronze capitals, resting on sheathed pilasters, ending in a molded pedestal, also in bronze. The chest of drawers rests on a projecting plinth, and its front legs are distinguished by their spinning top shape.
