18th Century chest of drawers

A beautiful, small antique mahogany chest of drawers in perfect condition. The piece features three large drawers and two small ones, topped by a pull-out slide—originally used as a writing surface. The drawers are fitted with elegant, simple "swan-neck" handles. The mahogany boasts a stunning, warm patina. It is also a piece of exceptional quality; the sides and top are each crafted from a single piece of mahogany—no glued-together sections—and after more than 200 years, there isn't a single crack. Truly remarkable! Origin: England. Period: c. 1780–1800. Dimensions: 94 cm X 48 cm X 88 cm (height).
