We are delighted to offer for sale this superb Victorian military campaign Davenport writing desk, full size, dating from around 1860-1880. It features a sliding top, a restored and hand-dyed brown embossed leather writing surface, and a brass gallery. Rare and larger than usual, it can be used as a desk or in a library. In good condition, with an authentic period patina, the leather has been fully restored. Dimensions: height 112.5 cm, width 51 cm, depth 59 cm (extendable to 76.5 cm).
