Victorian Davenport desk in hardwood and leather

We are pleased to present for sale this magnificent Victorian Davenport desk made of rosewood with marquetry, slightly restored, and featuring a hand-dyed brown leather top. The desk offers plenty of storage beneath the top, with drawers on one side and false drawers on the other. Rosewood is a very expensive luxury wood. The leather has been cleaned, dyed, and professionally patinated, showing a slight natural patina. Dimensions: Height: 88 cm (109.5 cm when open), Width: 56 cm, Depth: 53 cm. Knee space dimensions: Height: 62 cm, Width: 46.5 cm. Please note that all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: Good, with normal age-related wear and slight discolouration. Leather care recommendations: avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, and perform regular polishing.
