French antique steward's buffet circa 1860 in pine.

We are pleased to offer this very beautiful antique sideboard, made in France around 1860, hand-painted and patinated, or steward's cupboard in pine. An aesthetically pleasing and well-crafted piece that has aged well, with a charming colour and a finish true to its age. The back panel has been replaced at some point, probably for better insulation. The paint appears to be original and features lovely flowers. In terms of condition, it has been thoroughly cleaned and nothing else; the finish is perfect and it has a wonderful patina. The dimensions are taken at the widest point. The piece shows wear consistent with its age and use, with slight minor discolouration.
