Victorian partner's desk in pollard oak circa 1880 with a leather top.

We are delighted to offer for sale this sublime and exceptionally rare partner's desk in pollard oak from around 1880, featuring a green leather top. A desk over 140 years old, made from one of the finest woods, with a very rare carved top. Pollard oak is a highly valued wood, beautiful from every angle. This item has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom. It shows some normal age and usage marks, which do not detract from the charm and sophistication of the piece. Dimensions: Height 76 cm, Width 120.5 cm, Depth 62 cm. Leg height: 60 cm, Leg width: 57.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our warehouses in Pulborough. Please refer to the detailed photos for the condition. The leather has a natural patina with creases and normal wear; annual waxing is recommended to preserve moisture. It is advised not to expose hand-dyed leather to prolonged direct sunlight to avoid drying and discolouration.
