We are delighted to offer for sale this vintage partner's desk in walnut and light brown leather with two pedestals. It is an aesthetic, well-crafted, and decorative piece; the wood cuts are beautiful and evoke the atmosphere of an English country house. The light brown leather top features embossed gold leaf edges and has aged well. The desk has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom. It shows some signs of patina due to age and honest use. The desk is divided into three easily transportable parts, plus the leg passage panel. Dimensions: Height: 76 cm, Width: 138 cm, Depth: 74.5 cm, Free height for legs: 59.5 cm, Free width for legs: 50.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest points. Please note that for vintage and original items such as leather, a natural patina in the form of creases and wear is normal. We recommend annual waxing to prevent moisture loss. Additionally, hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods as it may dry out and discolour.
