Cabinet buffet with two bodies in moulded walnut – Louis XIII period, 17th century. Important two-body buffet in solid walnut, in the Louis XIII style, dating from the 17th century. This piece of furniture features a beautifully designed façade with rich moulding, composed of four doors with protruding panels and three drawers in the belt, topped with a cornice with dentils that gives it a classic elegance and a striking presence. The whole is made of solid walnut with a warm patina acquired over the centuries. The uprights are adorned with simple carved decorations, typical of French production from this period, while the doors are enhanced with antique fittings and original lock entries. The interior, recently dressed in red fabric, offers ample storage space distributed over several levels. This upholstery, easily reversible if desired, highlights the piece while protecting the shelves. The buffet is in good condition. The structure is sound and stable, with signs of use, old restorations, and small irregularities that one would expect from a piece of furniture over three centuries old. The back, made of old oak panels, confirms its authenticity. Dimensions: Height: 180 cm. Width: 119 cm. Depth: 63 cm. A remarkable storage piece from the 17th century, authentic and decorative, ideal for a characterful home or an interior seeking the charm of antique French furniture.
