Antique Empire commode in walnut, poplar and bronze, 19th century.

Empire commode, early 19th century, Lombardy. With a characteristic shape, four rectangular plinths support the piece with two solid columns on pilaster strips to support the entablature beneath the top, in which a drawer is inserted; on the front between the columns are three additional drawers. Made of walnut and poplar, it is then veneered with walnut and walnut pedulle, with gilded bronze capitals and embellished with brass-plated frames as is customary in Lombardy. Missing parts.
