Restoration period commode with walnut burl, marble top.

Restoration period commode from the early 19th century, featuring four independent drawers. The first, located in the waist, is concealed within the structure of the piece. The other three drawers open with three keys, with brass lock entries. The commode is made of walnut burl, showcasing beautiful grain and symmetry enhanced by the French polish. The lower part consists of a wide plinth resting at the front on two characteristic ball feet of the period, and two straight feet at the back. The top is made of original veined black EMPIRE marble, with a rounded edge finish. It is in perfect condition, having been restored and polished in our workshops.
