Very beautiful antique Louis-Philippe style chest of drawers, dating from the end of the 19th century, made of burr walnut with a solid walnut top. It comes from a house in the Loire Valley and has always been kept in the same family. The piece of furniture is authentic, never restored, only cleaned and waxed by hand with a natural wax to preserve its original warm and satiny patina. Assembled according to the traditional mortise and tenon craftsmanship, it is solid and durable. The four drawers are mounted in dovetails, with their functional locks and original round wooden entries. An antique key is provided and opens all the drawers.
