Postmodern vintage wall lamp by Mario Botta in black and white color made in metal circa 1986, Italy. An iconic lamp, model Shogun, designed by Mario Botta for Artemide. This table lamp features a perforated cylindrical shade with a black and white striped stem. The lamp shade resembles a shield and includes two handles for changing the shade. Mario Botta, a Swiss architect and designer, is known for his geometric and simple shapes, creating a clear design language. This lamp works beautifully with classic, traditional, contemporary, and modern styles. It is in good condition with signs of age and use, including small dents, abrasions, and fading. This rare model has a long square arm frame painted with stripes, preserved in very good condition with minor signs of time. It is ready to be set up with no need for restoration or rewiring.
