Mid-century wall light from the German manufacturer BUR Leuchten. This is a particularly rare version of the Flamingo lamp. Cubic shapes permeate this design, from the lampshade to the wall plate. The most striking detail of these BUR designs is the fine perforation of the shades. An elongated rectangular hole that refracts the emerging light and, once lit, breaks the cubic shape of the lampshade. This rare version features an angled arm on which the lamp head is mounted in a movable manner.
