Large oval mirror in burl and gilded bronze – Napoléon III period - late 19th century. Elegant Napoléon III style mirror, oval in shape, framed in rich burl with warm and deep hues. The frame is adorned with delicate gilded bronze ornaments finely chiseled, featuring foliage and plant motifs, including a beautiful central cartouche at the top. The quality of the wood, with the characteristic twisted grain of burl, gives the whole piece a strong decorative presence. The bevelled mirror highlights the elegance of the silhouette and subtly captures the light. French work from the second half of the 19th century, typical of the Napoléon III aesthetic combining richness of materials and decorative refinement.
