Irregularly shaped mirror with a teak frame, Denmark 1960

The irregular shape distinguishes this Danish mirror from the 1960s, breaking away from the classic geometry of rectangular mirrors. The fine teak frame follows the profile of the mirror and highlights its silhouette with simplicity. The asymmetrical shape gives it a particular decorative presence, ideal for enlivening a wall above a console, in an entrance or a bedroom. It also easily finds its place in a contemporary interior, where its design can become a graphic detail. A beautiful example of Mid-Century Danish design, where natural teak accompanies a less conventional and more personal silhouette.
