Charlotte Perriand Cansado sideboard

Charlotte Perriand. Low sideboard known as a cansado. This legendary sideboard is the result of Charlotte Perriand's work furnishing an oil city in Mauritania in the 1950s. Black painted metal frame and mahogany veneer body with Formica sliding doors and four drawers. Dimensions: 158 x 75 x 45 cm. Very good condition considering its age. Condition report: A few minor scratches, some scuffs, especially on the corners, but overall a beautiful patina. It is entirely in its original condition. An iconic designer piece for storage, display, decoration, and show-off!
