Vintage Scandinavian sofa Mogens Hansen 1970

The very comfortable vintage sofa model 535 was manufactured in the late 1960s and early 1970s by the Danish leather furniture factory Mogens Hansen. The soft and thick cognac aniline leather is in fantastic condition with a beautiful patina and wrinkles that highlight its age. The sofa is amusingly described as a "two and a half seater," as the division of the cushions indicates a two-seater, but it can accommodate three people. A large back cushion, affectionately called "horn," brings all the segments together into one piece and rests on two distinct seat cushions. All these cushions, filled with goose down, make this mid-century sofa extremely comfortable and provide the pleasant seating you would love to sink into for a long time. The legs are made of solid beech. This sofa will fit perfectly in a modern apartment, living room, or studio. The sofa is in its original condition, and the satin lining (characteristic of M.H. pieces) is also in very good condition.
