Elegant extendable dining table model 12 in teak, designed by Niels Otto Møller and manufactured in the 1960s by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Højbjerg, Denmark. Møller is among the great names in Danish furniture design; his creations are synonymous with sculptural forms, noble woods, and uncompromising craftsmanship quality, which has made J.L. Møllers renowned to this day. The shaped legs are particularly beautiful: rectangular in section, they taper down to finish elegantly in a point. The frame and legs are made of solid teak, the tops rest on the base and are edged with solid wood. The two 53 cm extensions remain clearly visible on the sides and integrate harmoniously with the line of the table. When opened, the table offers approximately 236 cm, ideal for a large gathering. Under the table is the original manufacturer's iron stamp. The table has been fully restored. The teak has a warm and vibrant hue, and the finish is of the highest quality, as is known with J.L. Møllers. Condition: very good vintage condition – fully restored, stable and perfectly functional, with slight signs of use due to age. A rare classic of Danish design for discerning interiors. Dimensions: approximately 130 × 90 × 74 cm (width × depth × height), open: approximately 236 cm (with 2 extensions of 53 cm).
