Scandinavian solid pine drop-leaf table, 1960s

Solid pine drop-leaf table with two folding leaves, contrasting dark finish on the frame and tapered legs. Scandinavian production, 1960s. The compact structure and drop-leaf mechanism make this solid pine table particularly functional, allowing the tabletop to be extended with ease. The extensions (25 cm each) ares supported by traditional pull-out wooden arms concealed beneath the top, a construction method widely used in Scandinavian furniture of the 1960s for its reliability and practicality. The pronounced grain and natural knots of the pine highlight the authentic character of the material, while the dark finish of the frame creates a pleasing contrast with the top, emphasizing the richness of the wood. The gently tapered legs lighten the table's profile, contributing to its balanced proportions. Good condition. It may show some signs of age and use. Please pay close attention to the photographs.
