'T3LC' armchairs by Katavolos, Littell and Kelley for Laverne International, 1950s.

Rare versions of the 3LC lounge chairs, better known as AT&T chairs. Chrome and enamelled steel with original cognac leather strap, designed by William Katavolos, Ross Littell, and Douglas Kelley. From the "New Furniture" collection of Laverne International in 1952. Thanks to hidden screws, the leather seat is attached to a chrome tubular steel frame and black lacquered flat steel to create a striking three-legged chair. The steel structure creates an open look and a floating appearance of the seat. The AT&T chair is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and other major museums around the world.
