Magnificent and rare chaise longue, model Ra. Designed by Pierre Thielen, Studio Industrial Design for Metz & Co, in the Netherlands, 1960s. Metz & Co was a distinguished furniture store in Amsterdam, with a display and interior designed by Gerrit Rietveld. The chair is made of matte chrome steel and was very complicated to produce, hence very expensive. The chair is in good vintage condition.
