Two beautiful scroll-shaped vases attributed to François Théodore Legras (1839 – 1916), in blown, engraved and enameled glass with a decoration of lake landscapes. Art Nouveau period, circa 1910. Both vases are unsigned. In perfect condition, without accidents or signs of wear. François Théodore Legras is an important figure in the art of glassmaking. Originally from the Vosges, and having spent his childhood in a small hamlet located in the heart of the Darney forest, François Théodore Legras is a great master glassmaker of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. The landscape surrounding his home during his childhood would later become his main source of inspiration. Height: 26.2 cm Dimensions at the neck: 9 cm X 9 cm Diameter at the foot: 11.5 cm.
