Description
2836 - from the art nouveau period, from the la plaine st denis glassworks whose director at the age of 27 was the master glassmaker françois théodore legras (1839-1916), this pair of unsigned diabolo-shaped vases with hexagonal necks in hand-decorated enameled blown glass in good condition. No cracks or chips. Presence of normal air bubbles since these vases are mouth blown. They have a gradient amber yellow background with a lake landscape and are listed in the book legras" by michel & vitrat in 2002. Height 283 mm X 120 mm. Weight 1610 g. Very careful shipping.
